The upcoming supernatural
thriller, set in the 1930s, marks Jordan’s fourth collaboration with director Ryan Coogler, following their successful partnerships on
Fruitvale Station,

Jordan’s breakout role came in 2013 with
Fruitvale Station, where he portrayed Oscar Grant, a young Black man tragically killed by police in Oakland. His performance was lauded for its depth and authenticity, bringing humanity to a real-life story that resonated with many.

In 2015, Jordan took on the role of Adonis Creed in
Creed, breathing new life into the

Creed III marking his directorial debut in 2023.
Jordan’s versatility was further showcased in 2018’s
Black Panther, where he played the complex antagonist Erik Killmonger. His performance added an emotional depth to the film no one expected and contributed to its cultural impact and success.
