Midday Message: Say, “Yes!” To His Will And His Way!
Today’s midday message was inspired by “Watch Night” service last at my church Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church. My pastor Rev. Dr. Alyn E. Waller’s sermon was titled “Make It A Good One.” The message was based on the scripture, 2 Timothy 4:7, which says, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
This is what I’m determined to say at the end of 2015. But in order for me to personally get to that point, I have made up in my heart and in my mind that I will make this year a good year by saying, “Yes!” to God. I’m saying, “Yes!” to His Will and “Yes!” to His Way!
I know that by getting out of my own way, so that God can have His Way, I must submit to His Will. So when it comes to my way, 2014, you got that! But for me in 2015 it’s a “God Thing!”
